Expect surprises, silliness, scares and rocking new songs in this magical musical!

Ever wondered what you would do if you woke up and all the adults had disappeared? Lucy and the other kids of Whiffington hadn’t – until one morning that’s exactly what happens!

With a town full of children running wild, our reluctant hero and some unlikely friends begin to solve the mystery of a lifetime in a topsy-turvy, back-to-front and inside-out new world underneath her bed… the world of the Creakers!

Based on the best-selling book by singer-songwriter and author Tom Fletcher (Christmasaurus, Space Band), and adapted for the stage by Miranda Larson, this is a story about how it’s often those who are different who end up making a difference.

Book by Miranda Larson
Music and lyrics by Tom Fletcher Directed and choreographed by Tom Jackson Greaves (Whistle Down The Wind, Priscilla Queen of the Desert)

Presented by Impossible Producing, Smith & Brant Theatricals, Gavin Kalin Productions, Theatre Royal Plymouth and the Southbank Centre

Queen Elizabeth Hall reopened in April 2018 following almost three years of renovations with world class, environmentally-improved new facilities for audiences and artists. The buildin is also home to Purcell Room a smaller, more intimate space.

The design led by architects Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios (FCBStudios), focused on refurbishing the auditoria, foyer and artists’ back of house facilities. Improved access, ventilation and lighting systems, and new production infrastructure enhance the experience for audience and performers alike. New leather upholstery revitalises the Queen Elizabeth Hall and Purcell Room’s distinctive and comfortable seating.
