The Violent Hearts bring their infectious and melodic post-punk sound to the stage (/venue or town name) in support of their highly anticipated sophomore record, ’Songs of Madness and Violence’, out on December 6th. 

 

 

 

The work is a confident and insightful follow up to their revered 2021 debut LP, ‘Everything and Nothing’ and takes their highly successful blend of post-punk meets darkened power-pop formula and builds to glorious new heights. 

 

 

 

Joining The Violent Hearts on their album tour are Birmingham’s indie-rock heroes Wood and Nails. 

Venue information

Le Pub is a 200 capacity music venue in Newport, Wales. The renowned venue was established in 1992, and quickly became a cultural hub for the local community, hosting a variety of live music events, art exhibitions, and community activities.

Le Pub moved to its current location on High Street in 2017, enhancing its facilities to better serve both artists and audiences. The venue is committed to promoting independent music and art, providing a platform for emerging talent and established acts alike. Its intimate setting and vibrant atmosphere continue to make it a beloved staple of Newport's cultural scene.

Accessible toilet

As part of their priority to create a pub and venue that is accessible to all, Le Pub have built an accessible toilet situated on the ground floor. Just ask the bar staff for a key.

Ramp into venue

There is a ramp for access to the venue. Unfortunately there is not a permanent ramp at the moment. If you are requiring ramp access to any upcoming gigs please email sam@lepub.co.uk and they will ensure it's there.
The bar area is fully accessible without the need for ramps.
