A pioneer of Ghanaian highlife and a key figure behind Afrobeat’s evolution, Ebo Taylor spent decades shaping a sound rooted in groove, patience, and deep musicality.
From his early days leading the Stargazers dance band to studying in London alongside a young Fela Kuti, Taylor built a catalogue of tight horn lines and rolling guitar grooves, with songs like ‘Love and Death’ and ‘Heaven’ finding a second life on dancefloors decades after release.
In collaboration with Ebo Fest, we present a lineup of live acts, DJs and some very special guests to honour his enduring legacy and showcasing his influence on fellow Ghanaian artists today.
