Fronted by acclaimed London soul singer Lisa Grand, electrifying 8-piece Soul Pilgrims brings together real Hammond organ and a “majestic horn section” (Blues & Soul) for a high-energy live experience.
Expect timeless Aretha classics including ‘Respect’, ‘I Say a Little Prayer’, ‘Think’, ‘(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman’, and ‘I Never Loved a Man’, alongside iconic arrangements from her celebrated live album Aretha Live at the Fillmore West.
Soul Pilgrims are originally formed and conceived by members of the Jezebel Sextet, who’ve been performing sold out shows at Jazz Cafe for over 20 years.
